Electrical & Electronics Engineering

To meet the ever-growing demand for electrical power, many power plants of large capacities need to be brought into the pipeline in private and government sectors. Since there is a requirement for a large number of Electrical Engineering graduates, this department is offering a program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the B.Tech level since 2009 and is committed to producing well-trained electrical graduates. It has acquired excellence in the areas of Power Systems and Power Electronics and has well-qualified and committed faculty. This department is also offering P.G. Program in Power Systems from June 2012 onwards.

The department maintains a good staff-student ratio with a required number of faculty and supporting staff. Our students and staff are actively engaged in paper publications in national/international Conferences and journals.

The teaching and learning process is strengthened with regular oral and written feedback from students. Besides periodical tests, well-designed assignments, regular tutorials, and remedial classes are arranged whenever it is required. The department is having 10 well-equipped labs. The laboratory facilities are periodically strengthened with the addition of equipment depending on the requirements in the updated syllabi and the student projects. The good Infrastructure and eminent faculty, further strengthen the department.
