Innovation activities

Innovation is the transformation of an idea into a better method of doing things based on available resources and with assistance from people who are more experienced around us.

SITS Innovation Cell is thus intended to connect people, ideas, experiences, and resources in order to stimulate the college's innovation community.  This cell fosters student ideas and encourages them to submit business plans. The Innovation Cell may potentially assist in obtaining funding for the initiative.

Learning is an ongoing process, and there are always opportunities to improve the existing system around us.  Innovative ideas might be realized by utilizing the institute's workshops, labs, library (including a digital library), internet and intranet services, and research facilities.

Objectives:

1. To encourage students to discover their hidden skills in many engineering areas.
2. To give a platform for people to recognize and believe in themselves.
3. To encourage students to pursue careers as young entrepreneurs.
4. To provide students with an innovative environment in which to discover, develop, deploy, and express their skills and talents.
5. Technical Tutorials to encourage students to participate in Hackathons and prototype development.
6. To encourage students to pursue their hidden skills in many engineering areas.
