The National Service Scheme was started to establish a meaningful linkage between the campus and the community. National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell, SITS Unit is introduced in the session 2009 - 10 with hundreds of students. The scheme's main aim is to enable the student to upgrade their personality and experience through community service. The SITS NSS Unit offers students an environment for civic engagement and the growth of a sense of ownership over responsibilities related to nation-building. NSS volunteers make it a priority to make sure the poor receive assistance to raise their standard of living. Every year, a range of events are planned to encourage the younger generation's enthusiasm and idealistic spirit to focus on creative endeavors. They inform the public and schools about a variety of topics, including cleanliness, palliation, and health. Regular health and cleanliness campaigns are held throughout the campus and in the neighboring adopted village regions to raise awareness and inspire people to work for a clean environment. Giving students the chance to collaborate with those in underdeveloped areas and slums is crucial today. The NSS unit was established in our college because the administration saw it as a priority program and one that was conducive to the overall development of students' personalities. In the villages we adopted, we successfully ran a number of programs.
